Veterans assistance in Niobrara and Natrona counties

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout June.

Marshall Griffin is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans' benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare.

Griffin can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.

His office is located at 5905 CY Ave., Room 127, in Casper and he will also be available at the following locations:

- Casper: June 5, 12, 19, and 26 at the VA Casper Clinic, 4140 S. Poplar Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Lusk: June 20 at the Lusk Town Clerk Office, 201 E 3rd Street, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walk-ins are welcome at the above locations and dates, but call ahead to avoid waiting.

During periods of inclement weather, please check with the staff at the outreach locations to ensure the veterans service officer will be available.

Windy Carter is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans' benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare.

Carter can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.

Her office is located at the Joint Forces Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne, and she will also be available at the following locations:

- Laramie: June 4 at the Workforce Services Center, 3817 Beech Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Torrington: June 6 at the Workforce Services Center, 1610 East M Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Cheyenne: June 18 at the Vet Center, 3219 E. Pershing Blvd., open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Laramie: June 19 at the Workforce Services Center, 3817 Beech Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Torrington VFW: June 24 at the VFW, 925 W 25th Ave, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During periods of inclement weather, please check with the staff at the outreach locations to ensure the veterans service officer will be available.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout June.

Lori Crump is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare.

Crump can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.

Her office is located at 324 East Washington Avenue, in Riverton, and she will also be available at the following locations:

-  Evanston: June 13 at the Evanston Human Services Building, 350 City View Drive Suite 200, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

-  Lander: June 17 at the Lander Senior Center, 205 South 10th Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

-  Dubois: June 27 at the High Country Senior Center, 504 Hays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

-  Jackson: June 28 at the Jackson Workforce Center, 155 West Gill Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

During periods of inclement weather, please check with the staff at the outreach locations to ensure the veterans service officer will be available.

Most other weekdays Lori is available by appointment at 324 East Washington Avenue, in Riverton. Outreach may be scheduled in Lander, Riverton,

Dubois, Jackson, Evanston and all other Fremont, Teton and Uinta County communities by appointment.

His office is located at 551 Running W. Drive, in Gillette, and he will also be available at the following locations:

* Sundance: June 4 at the Crook County Courthouse, 309 E. Cleveland St., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

* Newcastle: June 6, 13, 20, and 27 at the Department of Workforces Services, 22922 Hwy 85, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Worland: June 5 at the Worland Community Center, 1200 Culbertson Ave, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Lovell: June 3 at the North Big Horn County Senior Center 757 Great Western Ave. 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Thermopolis: June 5 at the Hot Springs County Museum, 700 Broadway, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
