FAQ's

Subscription dues are just like a magazine subscription. It gives you 365 days of membership in the VFW. With this being the first year that they are coming into effect it will be a process that we are not use to. The basic breakdown of what is going to happen is:

If you are an annual member and you pay your dues before Jan your expiration will be Jan 2015. If you pay after that date whatever day your dues are processed at National will be the new expiration date. Example would be that you send in your dues to National on 1 Feb 2015 and National processed them on the 15 Feb. Your new expiration date would be 15 Feb 2016.

At times the VFW Department of Wyoming does use a company to help us raise funds.  They should not ask for your account information, instead the will ask for a pledge, then send you a package in the mail, asking you to fulfill your pledge.

• You must be a current (dues paid) member of a VFW Post in Wyoming or Member-At-Large in the Wyoming VFW.
• Look at your VFW Membership card: Member ID is Membership number, Password is initially your last name (should not be case sensitive; smith or SMITH or Smith or even sMiTH are all the same, but not Schmidt)
  
• If you are trying to login to the National VFW website vfw.org please seek assistance there.
  
• If you are still unable to access the Members Only section of vfwwy.org please send us an email via the Contact Us menu (copy the following and paste into the message): "I cannot login to the Members Only section of vfwwy.org"
  

As it is our mission to serve all veterans so most of our website is open to the general public. The Members Only section simply contains the names and contact information for our officers and committees for use within our organization.
